Innovative, London based folk band, “Something Sleeps” bring you an evening of original folk inspired songs, sung in stunning close vocal harmony. Featuring beautiful string arrangements on the cello and violin, the music is gentle, thought provoking and engaging. As well as original material, Something Sleeps re-imagine traditional folk songs from The British Isles, The Canary Islands and North America, giving old stories and lesser known tales a contemporary voice.
Melting their signature vocal harmonies into soulful string arrangements, this is emotive folk music, inspired by nature and the times we live in.
With a love of traditional music, but not always for traditional messages, Something Sleeps seek to stay true to the spirit of folk music whilst weaving the words into songs that move with the times.
Featuring vocal harmony obsessed Fiona Fey and Rey Yusuf (formerly Tell Tale Tusk) on guitars and vocals, Monica Viñoly on vocals and violin, and Josh Considine on Cello
