Jess Collins and Charlie Wheatley are a new duo performing an unusual take on Irish and American fiddle tunes on guitar feet and vocals!
London born Jess Collins is a mainstay of the grassroots folk scene in London performing regularly at the likes of The Harrison, Jamboree and sessions across the capital. She has trained in dance from a very young age and studied different styles of percussive dance from around the world. She has danced and played fiddle with many different bands and companies around England and America
London born Charlie Wheatley is an exceptional third generation musician. He is a multi instrumentalist and plays many styles of music and has played in many band and with many great musicians in the London area and further afield.
Charlie and Jess, met almost 7 years ago. Their love for traditional music brought them close and took them travelling around Europe learning different tunes and songs along the way. This is the first time they have put a duo show together, expect a diverse and unmissable journey through Irish and American fiddle tunes on mainly guitar feet and vocals! Not to be missed!
Eli Howard is from Toronto, Canada, and began playing Irish music at age five, when his school teacher started teaching tin whistle to her students. Eli quickly became enamoured with the music and over the years has added the flute, accordion, and guitar to his musical arsenal. As a child Eli competed in Irish music, qualifying for the All-Ireland Championships in 2008.
Immersed in the tradition, currently living in East London and can be frequently found attending and leading sessions wherever there are tunes being played.
