‘Retro in places, yet unmistakably modern, House Above The Sun have taken their myriad of influences and turned them into something special’ – FATEA
House Above The Sun (HATS) are a five piece group from London, England, blending soulful Americana with melancholic, blues-tinged indie rock. From bittersweet balladry to intricate guitar based epics, their songs are distinguished by infectious guitar motifs, evocative lyrics, and rich vocal harmonies.
Since releasing their promising debut album ‘Five Hours North’ (2017), HATS have been steadily building a following within London’s vibrant roots scene with live performances including London Folk & Roots Festival, Resonance FM and Merge Festival.

Hollow Bones is a country-tinged five-piece rock band from South London, featuring violin and piano. They play storming, dark, twisted alt-country rock with shades of Johnny Cash and JJ Cale, and other country/folk/blues acts you can’t quite put your finger on.
Singer/guitarist and songwriter Simon McGinley writes songs infused with a bone-dry black humour, inspired by everything from wrestling holds to William Blake. Hollow Bones aim to entertain, and to leave a strong aftertaste of honey and bourbon.
