The duo met last year when Cori was an exchange student, studying folk music at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm. From their backgrounds in English and Swedish music, Cori and Johanna intertwine traditional melodies with new compositions and improvisation.
Their spiralling arrangements with spinning, trance-like melodies morph into electrifying groove-based tunes, inviting the audience on a musical journey. For the duo, no other feeling comes close to making music, creating ‘another world’ and passing on something special to an audience.
