Chris Quinn has received countless glowing reviews in the music press for his solo releases and live performances. Maverick Magazine called him “A master of the acoustic guitar and a quality songwriter”. With roots in both England and Scotland and spending part of his early career touring across the USA; his own songs are heavily influenced by British, Celtic and American traditional music. Live you can also expect masterful fingerstyle delta blues, bluegrass and swing / jazz guitar and some of the finest acoustic guitar playing you’ve ever heard!
Over the past decade regular performances with some of the world’s most celebrated guitarists: Stochelo Rosenberg, Clive Carroll and Robin Nolan to name a few, brought Chris to the attention of guitar industry insiders. This led to endorsement deals with AER amps and Steve Toon guitars and a regular job teaching acoustic guitar at the IGF Summer School alongside Guitar Techniques and Guitarist Magazine editors.
”World class – Constant international touring over the last decade including a stint opening for the Jools Holland Orchestra as well as playing guitar for some of the world’s leading gypsy jazz guitarists has given this guitarist and vocalist an enviable confidence”. SONGLiNES Magazine
