“An amazing dynamic folk band, bringing feminist protest through the dreamier side of music.” BBC Introducing
“Ageless, as if Joan Baez suddenly plugged in and had tea with Florence Welch and sparked a revolution.” Lost In The Manor
Alt-folk agitators Dryadic have built a reputation as one of the UK’s most compelling contemporary folk bands, distinctively fusing rootsy folk with melodic pop, infectious hooks, vibrant string-led arrangements and unapologetically feminist songwriting.
Their album Permission to Speak received critical acclaim from press such as Earmilk, Folk London and FATEA with airplay and playlisting from BBC Wales Celtic Heartbeat, BBC Introducing in the West, BBC Orbit and Amazing Radio.
Expect a riveting live show of exquisitely crafted songs, lyrics that elicit a deep, impassioned connection, soaring, velvety vocals, live fiddle looping, bold harmonies, raw energy, emotion and charisma.
