Jacquelyn Hynes has been described as “as fine a musician as any in our folk roots world” (Mike Norris, Classic Folk), with her work praised as “ethereal and other-worldly yet contemporary” (Irish World).
Jacquelyn launched her solo career in 2025, supporting Irish musicians Steve Wickham and Ray Coen. In 2026, she has given successful solo performances at Cellar Upstairs, Colindale Folk Club and Whitby Folk Week, and collaborated with renowned storyteller Patrick Ryan.
Drawing on her Irish musical roots, theatrical experience and fascination with musical history, Jacquelyn blends haunting flute playing, evocative songs and original compositions, creating a soundworld both intimate and enchanting.
