Expressive and energetic live performances combined with subtle and nuanced arrangements leave them well-placed in both festival and studio settings. Darach is a collaboration between Scottish fiddler Roo Geddes and Galician guitarist Hugo Franco, blending the traditional music of their homelands with contemporary folk influences. They set traditional melodies in resonant arrangements that draw inspiration from Classical music, Jazz, and Brazilian Choro.
In 2025, the duo released their debut album in Spain and France, performing on the main stages at major festivals including Festival Interceltique de Lorient, Ortigueira, and Encordass Fiddle Fest.
