One third of award winning folk trio Said the Maiden and founder of The Company of Players, Jess Distill is a singer/songwriter from Hertfordshire, inspired by traditional English folk music and her love of all things Iceland.
Accompanied by intricate guitar, a smattering of dulcimer and a few surprises along the way, Jess weaves tales of rogues and sailors, love, gods and icy tundras.
Little Gidding sees folk music and song brought to life by multi instrumentalists, Ellie McCann and Freda D’Souza, their harmonies bring depth and colour to both original songs and traditional British folk music.
Little Gidding perform a mixture of their own interpretations of traditional songs and tunes from the British Isles and further afield alongside their own compositions.
Having only formed in early 2019 Little Gidding are already making an impact on the local folk scene in London and the home counties, Little Gidding are one to watch…
