Iona Lane is a young, upcoming folk singer and musician, whose emotive and well-crafted songs are delivered with immense passion, and an understanding beyond her years for the stories she is telling. Fatea Magazine

Iona Lane a singer, musician and songwriter from North West England. Iona is currently studying for a BA (Hons) Music (Folk) with a scholarship at Leeds College of Music. Iona has always had a passion for music but only recently started paving a career in it – she submerged herself in folk music, picked up guitar, and never looked back!

She performs frequently at festivals and folk clubs, most recently including Winborne Minister Festival and Beardy Folk Festival, and along the way she has played alongside many well-known names, including Blair Dunlop, Edgelarks, and The Willows. She is currently studying for a BA Hons (Folk) degree, with a scholarship, at Leeds College of Music under the tuition of Jim Moray, Nancy Kerr and Bryony Griffith. Performing a mix of traditional and original folk songs, Iona has been praised throughout the scene for her delicate yet powerful vocals, which have captivated audiences up and down the country.
