House Above The Sun (HATS) are a London based group led by singer/songwriter Jim Moreton. Drawing inspiration from Americana, folk and Indie rock, their melodic, heartfelt songs span the spectrum from bittersweet balladry to intricate guitar based epics. Geri van Essen is an East London based folk singer who, with her recent album Cleaned the Windows, has branched out into retro pop and soul. Her vocals have been compared to Karen Dalton, Sibylle Baier and Aldous Harding.
