The Twisted Twenty are an innovative string group exploring the musical worlds of Baroque and Folk Music. The band are comprised of Holly Harman, Alexis Bennett, Flora Curzon on Fiddle, Carina Cosgrave on double bass, David Rabinovici on Baroque violins, Ewan Macdonald on Cittern and Lucia Cappellaro on Baroque Cello. By taking documented 17th and 18th century British folk tunes and using instruments of the period, The Twisted Twenty infuse these melodies with the intensity of the Baroque and forge a new sound for the 21st century.
