A folk singer and multi-instrumentalist from London Aeryn Mansfield is a blazing new light in contemporary whistle playing. With her percussive, improvisational and occasionally avant-garde style, she has both charmed and bewildered audiences in her young career. Her evocative vocals and interesting arrangements of traditional songs and tunes have earned her spots at Green Note (2021) and Fatea’s Love Folk Festival (2022). Erin lists her influences from Bjork to Bellowhead and stamps her passion and originality onto everything she does

Drawing on the rural and sea-faring descriptions and stories that folk music tells so well, Theo Dussek and the Jack of Hearts Band’s music identifies itself firmly in the folk category but cannot escape the rolling, far-flung sounds of Americana, nor resist the rhythmic uplifts inspired from the modern folk-pop movement.

A long-distance love-letter through space and time, written in the language of folk, whose lyrics hark back to the times of sailors and sweethearts, the open plains of pilgrim roads and the threshed fields blazing gold in autumnal English countryside.
