Club Débris is a new Quebec-inspired folk band based in London, playing high-energy French-Canadian trad music in brazenly major keys: in other words, no-nonsense tunes with a pro-nonsense attitude.

This live performance will be the band’s official launch into the folk world, so come and join for a piece of the delightful chaos.

Featuring:

Will Allen: Kent/London-based accordion and fiddle player, one half of the duo ‘Brown Boots’ and regarded as one of the top box players on the English trad music scene.

Maisie Greenwood: Established fiddle player in the east/north London session scene, member of Band of Burns and well-travelled musician playing a wide repertoire of tunes from England, Ireland, Scotland, Scandinavia and North America.

Duncan Menzies: Scottish multi-instrumentalist (fiddle/banjo/mandolin) and Doctor of electronic bagpipes, performs regularly around the UK and Europe as a member of Americana trio Copper Viper, pagan speed-folk pioneers PerKelt, and banjo-wielding purveyors of general silliness Banjöverkill.

Will Chamberlain: Piano player from Northeast England and member of the Silver Street Ceilidh Band, accompanying tunes in an eclectic, rhythm-orientated style.
