Brown Boots is Will Allen on melodeon and Martin Clarke on fiddle. Their musical background is rooted in playing music for dancing, as well as gaining inspiration from playing with their many talented musical friends at festivals and pub sessions across the country.
Martin and Will are delighted to be joined by Will Chamberlain on the piano. Originally from Hexham in Northumberland, he also plays alongside Martin in Silver Street Ceilidh Band. Will is an expert improviser, bouncing and thriving off Brown Boots’ creativity. Will’s playing adds not just extra energy and drive to the music, but also a bit of tongue-in-cheek silliness.
This notorious bunch of mischief-makers play joyous, ridiculous music for dancing. Brimming with energy they will have you throwing yourself into every move; leaping helplessly around the hall, grinning from ear to ear the whole night. Erin’s expertly exuberant calling will only exacerbate this escapade. All welcome, no experience necessary.
