BBC Folk Award winner Ben Walker was recently hailed as one of ‘the best acoustic guitarists in the world right now’ by Total Guitar magazine and ‘a great guitarist, composer and producer’ by Mark Radcliffe on the BBC Radio 2 Folk Show.

Reviewers of Ben’s first solo album Echo called it exceptional (Folk Radio UK); a profound statement connecting past and present (fRoots), ambitious, distinctive and brilliantly achieved (Songlines) and, quite simply, stunning (The Guardian).

Born in Worcestershire, trained in classical guitar from a young age, Ben has more than seventy records under his belt as a producer and player and a reputation among his peers for fusing tradition and innovation and for playing like no-one else. His musicianship has been sought out from Rough Trade to the Royal Shakespeare Company, from punk to proms.

Ben’s warm and whimsical solo guitar show regularly delights folk audiences in the UK and further afield, his studio work and his collaborations with the finest of UK folk demonstrate a contemporary musician at the top of his game.

Born in Poland and based in London for almost 15 years, Basia has established herself as a prolific violinist on the London music scene.

A keen collaborator, performer, composer and improviser, she has been a member in a myriad of bands and projects, in diverse musical genres, spanning Americana, folk, experimental, jazz, alternative, pop and more.

Combining classical technique with folk, gypsy and jazz fiddle styles, Basia is known for her expressive and versatile playing and warm and distinct violin sound.
